Mike, I don't believe I missed that picture. Now I really feel like a 'tard. Other members helped me with R45 also. I have successfully completed that mod and my radios, batteries, and MVA are working great.
The second mod I mentioned involves not the thermal sensing part of the charge circuit but the trickle charge portion. There is a mod to the desktop charger to reduce the trickle charge rate so batteries don't get cooked sitting in the charger for extended periods of time. I wanted to do the same thing to my MVA charge circuit. The schematics are just different enough to make me wonder. (One of my radios stays in the car almost all of the time, and therefore is continuously getting charged) Again I appreciate all help and support. As a new member of the group I feel welcomed.
