Hey folks,

I just brought a Motorola MSF5000 UHF repeater home. It worked great
when I picked it up- but when I got it home- it won't transmit. The
fail light is not on, and it powered up fine. I have hit the reset
switch and it still doesn't work. I live on a mountain with a very
bumpy road- so maybe I knocked it out of tune.

Any ideas on what could have happened? Any possible fixes- short of
packing it up and getting it serviced/retuned? I am a Paramedic, I'm
good at dignosing/fixing people- not radios! I'm just setting up a
GMRS system. So throw out some ideas if you've got them (and use
layman's terms)!

Thanks,
