When you think about it, in theory there should be no RF current flow on the braid shield portion of LMR-400 either. In practice, you get it at the antenna. For this reason I suspect the "new RG-214" coax will have the same problems w.r.t. duplex service as LMR-400 & Belden 9913. Bob NO6B
