Jim,

If you are converting a carrier-squelch radio to TPL decode, you must remove
the jumper that normally bypasses the PL decoder. Do you have the manual
that covers your particular station?

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Motorola Uhf Micor jumpers

I am changing a Motorola Micor to decode & encode PL for one
of our sites. I made the changes to the encoder board per rptr-builder.
Although, I have yet to see it decoded on my service monitor with the
input audio at TB1(1&3).
I am learning what all the jumpers do/not do on the Micor. I get mix-up
as to which tone the manual is referring to.Control tone or PL tone.
Motorola Control tones are not used at this site.
The Micor receiver, does decode the PL, w/ audio at the speaker, but
the audio doesnt come out at TB1(4&6).

Remote Control Chassis -TCN1148A/TCN1223A
Stn control - TLN4635B
Line driver - TLN4668B
Sq. gate - TLN4662A
Time out timer - TLN4636A
Any input which will make this simpler ?

Thanks for your input.

Jim Kh6jkg.
