in my vast experience [ ;-) } semi or half duplex is more commonly understood asa a control station. as in a repeater control station where in you are xmitting on the repeater input and listenning to the repeater output. use 2 freq but not simulateously at the same time and together. trigger base soubnds kinda like a cb term concocoted to describe the action in simple terms but usually more confusing. and meaning no disrespect to cb-ers or them what are of that persuasion. but you know who you are. i will now disappear back into the wood work.
