900mhz is unforgiving.
Make sure you are getting a silver plated connector.

RF Parts has the actual UG58 that you need for $2.85,
on the page at <http://www.rfparts.com/c-typen.html>
but they do have a $25 minimum.  I'm sure that you
can find something else on the their web site to make
up the difference.

Personally I won't use anything but Amphenol or
Kings at 900MHzm and it HAS to be silver
plated - no nickel,

Any reason you can't use the connector that's listed in the Mouser catalog above or below the UG-58? It's still an N female, four-hole chassis mount.
