RV (camping) places sell solid-state low-voltage dropout devices to save an RV or camper picuup's batteries when a set-point voltage is reached. (Also hopefully cutting off power drain before a point where the engine can be successfully started if the starting and operating batteries are the same, but that's less common than it used to be on most setups, these days... thankfully.) You may want to look into installing something like that (or building one) for your system. Check the RV supply stores online. Nate WY0X
