Yeah. I've probed all over the board looking for usable signals (or
something that could be converted to a usable signal) without much luck.  I
think I did find something once but was unable to tap it without a scanning
electron microscope and a laser!

I'm not getting any replies, so I think that I need to take the 
2800's back and switch to 7800's with a packet connector. The 2800 
appears to have better receive, but the milspec board and ultra small 
components make it tough to work on.,
