I bet  you  found the same  site  that I  did.   They were selling
plating/anodizing  kits for $1800 and up?  Seems the most expensive
part was the power supply (obviously).  I saw one of them  for $1300.
  If  one could find  what voltages  and currents  are needed, I would
think it  wouldn't be too hard to build one.  I also found a section
on zinc plating that would be really handy for restoring boat anchor
stuff that has become corroded  over the years.   Wish I could  find
more  details on the specifics of the process.
