Hey guys,
Alright, need some input.
I'm running 2 hipro repeaters at a pretty quiet sight, 1 is on 449.225, and
the other is on 224.920.
The issue appears to be with the 220 repeater. Both of them are connected
to an arcom rc210 controller.
I linked the 2 of them, and the issue seems to be with the 220 repeater.
I turned off the 220 transmitter, and put a signal in to 220, I was on a
220 HT, listening on 440, cause all I did was shut off the 220 transmitter.
Signal was awesome on a handheld. I turned the 220 transmitter back on,
forget it, could hardly touch it with the HT.
Any ideas?
We looked at the 220 duplexer, and it appeared OK on the service monitor.
We're running rg213 patch cables in between the transmiter and the transmit
side of the duplexer, same for the receive.
It certainly sounds like a desense issue, any thoughts?
Antenna is a hustler 220 antenna about 3 years old.
We're running half inch hardline. This is driving me crazy.
Think something like a DCI filter would work?

Thanks,
Jed
