I have a Yaesu Vertex 3000U radio here that has programming problems - when the cable is plugged in to the mic connector it displays CLN as it should, but won't program.
Does anyone have the pinout/wiring diagram for the cable from the VPL1 (yaesu's version of a RIB) to the radio ? If it's a problem internal to the radio, it will be in the path from the mic jack to the microprocessor... does anybody have the service manual or at least a schematic and a PC board layout?
