I brought them home after replacing them with a set of Q202G classics with the lexan slide notch tune caps. What they began "life" as was 4 individual Sinclair reject filters, model # 1-150-1R7 of 2R7 (whatever that means). Someone collected them together, built a harness and viola, instant duplexer. They are 6.625" od by 24" tall aluminun cylinders.
I recently aquired 1 db products bandpass bandrejec filter model # SP8145-VR and 3 of their bandpass filters (model # unknown). They are all 8" od by 21" height. Question, could I convert the db products filters into duplexers and would they, by reason of the increased diameter make better duplexers (with a deeper notch at 600khz) than the 4 Sinclair cans? Thanks for any and all input. 73 de N5NPO Norm
