The radio indeed is a mobile radio, designed for trunk mount usage. the
control cable which used to go to the dash mounted control unit now connrcts
to a home brew controller. There is an off/on switch and voume control pot
and several LED's, only two of which that do any thing. There is no squelch
pot, which I wish to install once I am able to ID the the rig, and find the
proper schematic. I certainly appreciate all the feedback received so far.
And, Yes, the rig used to belong to a local CAP squadron.
