So now that my 8924c is working correctly, I thought I'd check some audio levels on my rc210 repeater controller with it.
Wow, cannot make heads or tails of the 8924c. I got as far as getting the scope "up" on the display. Plugging my 1x/10x probe into the audio HI bnc port of the 8924c. Playing audiotest.wav on the irlp node box. Probing TP3 (the appropriate test point on the controller). The voltage "levels" jump around so quick and drastically, I can "dial in" .75v on the controller pot. Silly me, get rid of all the "old" equipment I "know" how to use and then find out I'm too dumb to operate the piece I have left! Any help from those of you using 8920b or 8924c or something similar? Thanks for the bandwidth. Chris Kb0wlf
