Norm, The TX-RX specifications on catalog sheet C1024G9 for a 28-38-03A duplexer are 80 dB isolation and 1.9 dB insertion loss. Your readings are certainly extraordinary.

WOW!!! I wound up with a set of Tx/RX 28-38-03-C vari-notch duplex today. I was not expecting much. I got them cheap. The cans are only 4". No big deal. Bigger cans = deeper notches with less insertion loss, right? Well, unless my site master and IFR-2945B are lying to me, I got -100db on the notches and 1.2 db insertion loss! I will say this, the coupling loops are very different than what I have seen in sinclair, telewave and db cans. Does anyone else have any experience with this model? Am I reading things right? All I got to say is, incredible!
