T%his is in reference to the pass transistor in the M-II PA power control
circuit, (sometimes identified a Q 215).. In the mobile units this transistor
is the TO-220 type. In the continuous duty station transmitters it is a TO-3
type. My questions are if you put a mobile transmitter board in the station
heat sink assemble will the TO-220 transistor be ok with continuous duty
operation?? Also,is the power control circuit the same in the mobile and
station transmitters, so that you could remove the TO 220 and wire in a TO 3.
