Norm, Assuming that your radio is VHF (what were the existing operating frequencies?); the VHF radio comes in two bandsplits in the high power VHF station. There is no way to change one bandsplit to the other. I was involved with a project where incorrect frequencies were entered by someone doing an order resulting in a range 1 receiver and a range two transmitter. The radio ended up being sent back to the factory and replaced by an entirely new unit to correct the problem.
The best way to proceed at this point is to have someone with the proper RSS read the radio and give you a printout of the existing codeplug.
