CB Repeaters are illegal? You are assuming that the FCC is paying attention to the CB band-last I talked to them they have walked away from the band-no one is licensed, amps are used by lots of people and the FCC does not have the people or the interest to patrol the band-therefore it has become a no-man's land of 27 MHz garbage-the best thing that could happen is that they start using repeaters and blow themselves out of the water.

Legally a repeater is illegal on CB, but i just want to do an excersize in thought as to what problems someone may run into with such a project, etc. i have seen this questioned asked numorous times through the years and even heard rumors of it actually being done. no one though has actually went deep into the technical aspects of such a project or could point me out to the people who are operating or operated such a setup.
