I'd honestly have a hard time believing that... and if it
was true I'd have to ask why, because it really doesn't
seem worth the effort.

Why are you not asking the operators of the above machine
how they constructed their system?

and your point is..?

A quick answer would be... based on real world experience
with CB equipment and specs, your dream repeater equipment
list has issues. You need to first review your list and
maybe search the group post archives (easily done) regarding
each piece of listed equipment to hopefully find out why so
few people are jumping in eager to respond. Just by the
way you ask/post your question screams "smoke blowing time
waster" to most Group Members. And I speak from a Smoke
Blowing Professional Position of Authority...

A statement, which pretty much turns most of the Group
Members off big time. It's honestly not very appropriate
for this Group... (yeah I'll actually quit pussy footing
around and say it).

This subject is a lot like pirate broadcasting and this is
probably not the best group to expect serious technical
answers about such a gray area subject. I'm not going to
be posting a lot of questions or replies about repeating
a signal through the output of a 2.5kw broadcast transmitter...
same type of deal.

Most of us would hope CB repeaters don't get built and do
encourage anyone honestly interested in the subject to become
involved in Amateur and Commercial Radio where all the
aspects of repeater operation is legal, relatively easy and
(for the most part) fun. There's not a huge spectral distance
between 11 meters and 10 meters...

Hams, CB'ers or both? Your post replies are beginning to
get really silly (more so than mine). In the area where I
travel, CB radio is a very useful tool and most of the people
are civil, legal and very friendly. There are just as many
problematic people using GMRS, Commercial and Amateur Radio
as you find on Class D CB.

It clearly showed...

we could tell your posts were not just to learn...

There are many other ways to address the "good radio range"
issue. The first keyword in your quest should be "antenna".

Push up masts (poles), crank up towers (which are portable)
and even ground mounted tripods are very usable. You don't
have to be at 100' to have a decent radio signal. It's nice
but not required...

that's about it...
