Except for one thing-the x20 series radios weren't type accepted for narrowband, and the FCC has already said that if that's the case, it won't fly. Someone would have to send a unit in after the mods and get it re-certified for 12.5 (or 11.0) bandwidth. You can bet Kenwood ain't gonna do it. This only applies to Part 90 frequencies, btw. Parts 22, 80, 95, and 97 aren't affected. Sorry...
