I've just joined this group, but I can confirm that the full dual mode version has been available for some time now. I changed my plans about how to implement it, and as a consequence GB3IN went fully dual mode using the same hardware for both FM and D-Star a number of months ago. GB3IN could possibly be the first software defined repeater in the world! All of my software is open source under the GPL. Jonathan G4KLX
