I'am building a 5 links VHF low band and UHF as a backbone on VHF band using 
Zetron M47 and Tait Repeaters its a 450km total distance but the terrain was 
hilly and mountainous,

Zetron M47 is good multi-drop link controller 

Microwave link and satellite link.is too costly we end on VHF low band and UHF 
infra

      Doug Hall Electronics makes the 4RV voter.  I have never dealt with one 
myself, but I know of some other repeater owner that have and have said goog 
things about them.  About 8 years ago, I built and maintained an amateur 
repeater that had a LDG RVS-8 voter.  It worked prettu good and if I remember, 
it has an adjustable delay.  Hope this helps.
