K6NOX is just perfect.....fate, or luck? :-) Thanks to everyone who posted - I hope I do get my license soon too - met a few HAMs and have a good friend in San Jose who just last weekend spent his Sunday on the hill with an outdoor antenna just purely for the sake of being a HAM. :-)
Ive got a buddy of mine Don KU6V and fellow repeater owner in the Fremont area I need to get ahold of. It's been several months since we last spoke to each other. Let me get off this computer and see about some breakfast. I am retired now over 15 months and its kinda nice to get up when you want, do things around the house, work on some repeater equipment, etc. Good Luck John in your quest to get a Ham tix. Its not too difficult and once you do get that license the sky will open up for you and there will be lots of FUN to be had. Time to shutdown this PC for a few hours...73 Doug W7FDF
