Yes, that's exactly what I was referring to when I said there were other
(seemingly) non-free files in the directory

I already tried to remove the non-free files, a couple of months ago. [1]
The problem is that the touch keys won't work at all without those
drivers, making the phone nearly unusable.
So I think there's room for asking legal advice.

Also: Kurtis posted some related links [2] that could probably be useful.
I didn't actually understand what it's all about, but I think you should
have a look at it.
