Thanks a lot for the help TJ. Much appreciated. I think we should go for the adhesive grommets. As for the finishes, UV stability seems unnecessary as the banner will be used indoors. The only outdoor event that I can think of is CCCamp, but that will only happen again in 4 years. On the other hand, the liquid-lamination seems to be a good idea as the canvas should be able to last several conferences. I see it improves the scratch resistance (scratches will happen while we handle it) and makes it somewhat washable from stains (e.g. someone spills a coffee on top of it). With no other ideas proposed so far, I would say we should go for this one. In that regard: 1. Would this be illegible to be paid for by Replicant funds? (I am CCing the people from the Steering Committee that can make such decision.) I my opinion, if done properly, it will be an enduring good that can be re-used on all conferences where Replicant wishes to advertise it's presence. On the short term I am thinking about: 36C3, FOSDEM 2020 and LibrePlanet 2020 (if anybody can attend). I bet there will be many more. 2. TJ (as you seem to be "in the know"): is this something where you could help? Could you perhaps take care of the design? (Which is more like arrangement, as the main elements are designed already, see bellow.) I will try to get quotes from companies in Lisbon (Portugal), and perhaps Paris (France), where either I or another Replicant contributor could go personally to pick and check the finished product. But perhaps it won't be that much more expensive to have it produced in the UK and shipped to us. 3. Design: something like the banner from Replicant's homepage[1] would be the most "future-proof" design. However, it only appeals to those that already know the project. Should we add something else?
