Hi Fil, My French is not good, but you could try installing the texinfo package:
sudo apt-get install texinfo There is not much point in me trying to rework the code myself as 2/3G has been turned off in the UK and everything is supposed to be running on 4G now instead, so these handsets don't work for phone calls anymore.
