Package: reportbug
Version: 3.8
Hi,
Yesterday I tried to file a kppp bug using reportbug of my new sarge
install. Game level: Newbee.
So I did everything as advertised by the fine program, checked the
list of current bugs for dups, typed my info about it and finally sent
it. Sort of:
I don't find the bug in the BTS system, and I didn't get a CC mail. But
there was no message anywhere about this loosing my report.
So now I would not like to redo the stuff ("Do I remember all the
parameters well enough?") but get back to my bug and REsend it. Looking
around in the man-page and my home directory, I didn't find any info
about a backup of filed bugs. It doesn't seem to reside in the mail
queue either (but me not really knowing if it is installed correctly,
this is a new system and I'm not yet a specialist of it).
So I end up with a filed bug which was not sent without giving any error
message, not knowing where to look for a backup of the info, and not
really being keen nor knowing if I remember things well enough to redo
the filing.
Greetings
Peer

Hi Peer,
I'm sorry, but 3.8 is the version in oldstable, and we are supporting
from Stable to more recent versions. If you are able to replicate the
bug with 3.31 or higher, please reopen this bug attaching the full
transcript session, so that we can debug deeper.
Thanks for the report!
Sandro
