Hi,

I don't know too much about debian packaging, but this sounds really
strange to me.
I don't see any reasonable justification to include test suite output
in a binary package. And not just for reproducibility reasons, I simply
think packages shouldn't contain needless cruft that increases
complexity and size. They should contain what's required to run the
package plus documentation, man-pages etc., but not artifacts from the
building and development process.

I think the reasonable way to handle this is to provide the test output
at a stable URL and reference it.
