*This is for the IB Application Support team. The manager manages
applications that are Windows based and other members of the team manage the
Sun based applications. They will be working with the current Framework that
IB owns to make it more stable and reliable.  Shift is either 9-5 or 9-6pm
with unpaid lunch. Manager is flexible. There may be O/T required.

Job Profile –

·Participate in a special, high-profile, web application stability and
performance improvement project.
·Help lead an initiative to build an application and web log repository to
ingest, analyze, maintain, and distribute key application performance
trending, faults and metrics.
·Hands on work experience to work with AWStats, Splunk and other log parsing
tools
·Develop, maintain, and support log maintenance jobs and software upgrades
on web server and SQL server.
·Work closely with application developers to interpret log data outputs and
iterate what more data is needed to isolate problem areas.
·Translate application performance data into changes at all levels of the
application stack, from network to application tier.

Job Requirement –

Required (should have 5-6 years experience in each):*

*·Advance knowledge and experience with log analysis tools, ideally Splunk
and AWStats
·Experience capturing and analyzing network packet sniffs
·5 years of experience developing and supporting scalable client facing web
based applications.
·Experience in working on Windows and Sun Solaris based environment.  Hands
on experience on IIS 6.0, iPlanet web and application servers.
·5 years of hands-on working and troubleshooting experience in: IIS 5.0/6.0,
We relational databases (SQL, Oracle), Networking, programming/scripting
like VB Scripts and Shell Scripts
·Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML.
·Understands Web architecture and how it works (Windows and Sun Solarius)

Desired:

·Experience with load balancers and DMZ environments. (BIG plus)
·Financial experience
·Microsoft Certificate
·Strongly prefer Bachelors degree; MA degree is a plus

Interview process: 1) Phone screen (30 minutes) 2) In-person interview
(about 2 hours)
