Required Lead Application DB2 DBA on Z/OS

Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for database creation, implementation, maintenance, mentoring,
and support in troubleshooting database related software
applications and other related duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
Consultant MUST have the Experience in Data Architect, wide range of exp in logical and physical design of
DB2 and ADABAS exp too.
Environment:
DB2 v9.1 on Z/os
Skills
Required:
The ideal> candidate should have 10+ years of experience as an
application DBA on Z/OS handling multi volume large scale applications
Extensive knowledge of database design methods and data modeling techniques for building large-scale
applications
Extensive knowledge in using Embarcadero ER/Studio data modeling tool / Any other industry standard data modeling tool
Extensive knowledge of database security methods and procedures
Extensive knowledge in performance tuning of databases, SQL and provide DB2 support in performance tuning of the large scale database applications
Extensive knowledge of techniques to define logical relationships among data, processes involving multiple large scale applications
Provide support and lead for the legacy conversion from ADABAS to DB2 and provide DB2 support during the application conversion process
Participate in the definition of operational standards for managing information assets
