Key Responsibilities Primary Salesforce.com development (including the hand-on development of the changes, testing, rollout, and documentation). Analysis of business requirements and definition of functional requirements (in collaboration with representatives from the business functions) Operational support of Salesforce.com. Development and maintenance of operational procedures and associated documentation Essential Skills Salesforce.com experience in both development and analyst roles. Experience designing and implementing new Salesforce objects, workflow rules, custom layouts, and other standard Salesforce customizations Experience designing, coding, and implementing APEX code, Visualforce components, SOQL statements, and other advanced Salesforce customizations Strong experience with technologies supporting SaaS applications, including XML, Web Services, HTML, and JavaScript. Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating technology tools into a client solution. Experience with data migration practices, ETL tools, and enterprise integration technologies. Strong Web and internet related skills (optimally HTML/XML and JavaScript experience). 5+ years in an information technology leadership role, delivering projects to multiple customers (whether internal business customers or clients). 3+ years implementing, configuring, and administering CRM systems such as Salesforce.com, Siebel, or others. Thorough knowledge of SQL and experience with scripting and TTL tools. Knowledge of and experience with enterprise systems, including CRM, SFA, and ERP (Great Plains preferred) and understanding of enterprise integration. Strong Office tools skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Familiarity with project tools and methods. A quick learner who enjoys a stretching role within a fast moving and dynamic environment. A self-starter proven ability to manage own time and work with minimal direction, demonstrating self-direction and resourcefulness. Excellent organization skills and calm under pressure. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills- able to engage professionally and influence tactfully at all levels within the organization. Confident working with business teams and at facilitating business workshops. Desirable Experience Design and implementation of database-driven business applications with MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc. Design and implementation experience with GreatPlains Design and implementation Experience with Professional Services automation solutions, such as QuickArrow Packaging apps for distribution through App Exchange.
