Role: .Net Programmer--Backfill Duration: 18 months Location: Albany, NY Start Date: ASAP Rate: $28/hr *All the highlighted skills are must* * * * * *Job Role:* * * The Client Server Programmer 1 is needed to perform technical activities related to writing the instruction code using WCF, WPF and .Net, and testing modules and components. These individuals will work with the CAMP transformation of the application to.NET based architecture, eliminating the reliance on the current framework based on the Foundation for Cooperative Processing (FCP). They will participate in the integration of components and linking the new architecture to the existing FCP platform to ensure functionality is correctly developed *Required Skills:* * * 1. Associates degree in Information Technology (IT) and two years related field experience or four years direct experience in IT software development. 2. At least 2 years experience in client, business tier and data tier application development of complex, *n-tiered client-server applications using a must .NET * 3. At least 1 year of experience using all of the following within the .NET 3.0 or later framework: *VB.NET, WCF, WPF, VB.Net, MVVM* 4. At least 2 year of experience working directly with one or more of the following: *SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Expression Blend, BizTalk (link in thru WEB service calls)* 5. At least 2 years experience using *SQL, PL/SQL* writing stored procedures, functions, preferable in *Oracle 10g or higher.* 6. *At least 2 years experience writing unit tests and running automated regression/integration testing* 7. Must be able to demonstrate experience in performing knowledge transfer to client staff of programming techniques supporting the development of n-tiered client-server applications.
