Enterprise Payments Portfolio Manager and Wire Audit Project Manager



Experienced Project Manager (PM) needed for multiple responsibilities. The
PM will manage a virtual portfolio of all payments related projects across
Capital One. The PM will collect project status information monthly, analyze
information, and create a PowerPoint report on progress and alignment of
projects to future state. Successful PM candidates will utilize existing
portfolio processes across Capital One to identify payments related efforts
and track progress against business goals and enterprise risks. PM will
collaborate with Payments Capabilities Manager to determine Enterprise
Payments team participation in payments capability projects driven by other
groups.



In addition to portfolio management responsibilities, The PM will manage a
project to remediate wire process risks and update payments policies. The PM
will perform activities including: setting up and facilitating meetings,
analyzing wire risks, developing and delivering effective written and verbal
communications to describe policy and procedures that mitigate risks and
establish governance. PM will maintain a high level project schedule, status
report, define resource needs and roles and responsibilities. PM must
effectively communicate with client, team, and stakeholders.



*Wire Process Audit Remediation Responsibilities*



·         Drive completion of CFO’s Delegation of Authority letter and other
documents as required to grant wire authority to the Bank AE

·         Plan and coordinate the integration of the Wire Policy (1424) and
associated support documents under the Enterprise Payments Systems & Risk
Policy (3200)

·         Plan and coordinate the identification and integration of
stand-alone procedures, including the International Wire Operations
Procedure (27400.2.050) and Domestic Wire Transfers AML/OFAC Procedure,
under the Enterprise Payments Policy

·         Ensure policy alignments with defined Board and Corporate policies
including Corporate Information Retention Policy (1312), Enterprise Risk
Management Policy (5100), AML Policy (5301) Enterprise Business Continuity
Management Policy (2702), Compliance Management policy (5300), Credit Risk
Management Policy (5000)

·         Plan and coordinate updating the Enterprise Payments Policy as
part of the integration effort including the Monitoring Plan to include wire
transfer processes

·         Coordinate implementations with the Corporate Policy Office,
securing required approvals

·         Store documents in the Corporate Policy Repository and on
KnowledgeLink



*Enterprise Payments Policy Responsibilities*



·         Plan and coordinate the development of the EP Policy monitoring
plan

·         Coordinate the development of a map of and strategy for payments
policies

·         Plan and coordinate the integration of the ACH Policy (1423) and
associated support documents under the Enterprise Payments Systems & Risk
Policy (3200)

·         Plan and coordinate the development of new check, cash, and debit
card payments standards under the EP  Policy

·         Coordinate changes to Corporate Bank Account Policy (1417) and
support documents

·         Coordinate renewal of EP policy

·         Plan and coordinate changes to the Enterprise Payments Policy that
were deferred from the initial roll-out or identified afterward.

·         Plan and coordinate updates to the Enterprise Payments Policy
Monitoring Plan & Change Management Plan

·         Coordinate implementations with the Corporate Policy Office

·         Coordinate securing required approvals

·         Store documents in the Corporate Policy Repository and on
KnowledgeLink



Required Qualifications:

Experience managing project portfolios and projects

Understanding of portfolio management processes (e.g. Bank and Card IT
Investment Governance)

Experience applying Project Management Institute’s methodology.  5-10 years
of relevant Project Management experience.

Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA).



Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Capital One Policy Office

Strong foundations of payments industry is preferred. Payments are defined
as money movement including remittance, deposits, withdrawals, disbursements
through channels including wire, ACH, check, cash.

PMP certification
