The initial focus of the data mart is Institutional Investment Management data including Fixed Income, Equity and Asset Allocation specific data. The individual will work with business users and others to develop requirements and functional source to target data mapping for the new data mart. Responsibilities also include design and execution of data test plans. Additionally the individual will work on the requirements, design and implementation of reports within the Oracle BI platform including the Oracle Answers, Publisher and other modules to support the reporting workflow. The individual must have experience with BI reporting and understand terms such as Fact, Dimension, Star Schema, Ragged Hierarchy and Inner and Outer Joins. The individual will optimally have a deep understanding of Investment Markets and related data. Preference will be given to individuals who understand complex investment relationships, Fixed Income, Equity, and related Derivative instruments and how to report on them. Ideally the individual would understand and be able to define terms such as Effective Duration, Convexity, Yield, Turnover, P/E Ratios, Beta and others.
