Job Title: Security Engineer Location: Remote Work Duration: 12+ Month Contract Must-haves: - 5+ years of Network Firewall experience. - Must have experience deploying Checkpoint Firewalls. (i.e. installing, configuring, testing, and turn-over to production). - Must have a CCNA or CCSP - Must have experience doing large Cisco Checkpoint deployments across multiple hardware platforms. - Must have experience with Virtual System Extension (VSX). - Must have experience in a complex environment like; such as service providers, IBM, Dell, HP, AT&T, etc. - Must be self motivated, used to working off deliverables and providing weekly status reports and documentation to Project Managers. - Must be able to remotely configure and troubleshoot a complex network environment. Day-to-Day: - Network deployment requirements gathering. - Responsible for network security design, documentation and delivery. - Checkpoint Firewall Configurations, Engineering Work Orders, Firewall Rule Change/Add/Delete. - Configuring network security devices (switches, routers, firewalls). - Will be responsible for end to end networking security engineering service. - Will be responsible for Deployment, test, to turn-over to production - Responsible for the companies process flow and support of datacenters globally.
