Position: Performance Tester Location: Metropolitan Area,DC Duration: 6-12+ Month Contract Need Face To Face Interview We have the following contract position (a non-profit organization) in Washington, DC. We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer. Candidate must have good communication skills and local to the DC metropolitan area. Due to the urgency of filling this requirement, client will move quickly with the interview process and will extend an offer to the best candidate. Candidate must be available to interview in person this week or early next week. SUMMARY: The Sr. Performance Test Engineer is primarily involved in the performance testing of IT applications and infrastructure. The Sr. Performance Test Engineer will provide performance test expertise for developing performance test plan and test cases, writing testing scripts and executing performance test, analyzing and reporting performance test results to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Position requires strong analytical ability and communication skills to translate business objectives into measurable, testable requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES: Interact with project managers, software designers, developers, and customers to define and develop use cases, testing scenarios to assure adequate coverage based on software performance requirements. Develop test plans, test cases and testing scripts Execute performance test, maintain testing records, document and report discovered problems. Prepare performance test reports summarizing testing results. Work with manager to develop and maintain schedules for assigned projects.
