Position : SQL BI Developer Client/Location: Irving, TX Duration: 6-12 Months contract * *Need Local To TX * *Max Rate: $45-50/hr on C2C * * * * The qualified candidate will possess 2+ years of experience in three major areas, including: Business Intelligence/data manipulation, SQL development, and SSRS/Report Writing. Description: BI Developer experienced in unstructured data and SQL BI tools (SSRS, etc.). This will be a dynamic role where you will be an integral member of a small team at the ground level of building an enterprise business intelligence solution. Focusing mainly on delivering actionable reporting and self-service BI solutions to business users, the BI Developer will be responsible for working with analysts, managers, and executives to understand and document business needs and working with IT and data warehouse teams to understand the data sources. This person should be at near expert level with SQL and be familiar with concepts like common table expressions, RANK, CASE , sub-queries, etc… Must be familiar with pulling data out of data warehouse Dim/Fact tables as well as unstructured data sources and marrying the two together to get an overall view of the business.
