Length: 1 Year+ Specialized This role is for a senior systems engineer for IBM Websphere Commerce implementation. An ideal candidate will have a DevOps background with experience in systems administration, configuration management, build & release deployment automation and managing infrastructure. Responsibilities: - Contribute and collaborate in environment build out activities - Perform code builds and deployments - Close collaboration with various development, engineering, database and production teams - Support existing Development/Test/Production environments and ensure smooth working order, unblocked from meeting release goals. - May require communication to coordinate work with offshore team - Document build out instructions - Automate processes and reduce manual intervention Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in a Dev operations or production support experience with configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting applications running on IBM WebSphere Commerce with some experience on v7+ - 3+ years of experience with configuration management and have worked with one or more source control applications with a solid knowledge of branching and code promotions. - B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience required. Strong technical expertise: - Application server (Websphere) administration - RHEL Administration - Shell, python, Jython scripting - Java Web Application performance and availability troubleshooting - Solo Search expertise Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 9-10 years' experience required.
