*Job Summary:*

As a Copywriter at Sapient, you are responsible for managing the overall
copywriting efforts for a specific client(s). May involve managing other
copywriters in their overall efforts to research, conceptualize, write,
proofread and edit original content and digital experiences. You will help
to determine tone, style, structure and voice of editorial content, based
on available space, knowledge of editorial principles, aesthetic sense and
brand considerations, working directly with Creative Directors, Digital
Brand and Media Strategists, Art Directors, Interactive and Front-end
Developers, IA’s, Content Specialists & Designers.

*Primary Responsibilities:*

   - Write, edit, post, and proof content and copy
   - Communicate with team leads to coordinate concept, copy, interface,
   graphic design and navigational structure of project with functional aspects
   - Work with the team to develop digital media experiences that exceed
   client goals, carry out the creative vision, and fulfill Marketing &
   Strategy's mission
   - Actively seek out  and help define new creative possibilities for
   client engagements, from rich media ad units and social media programs, to
   original video scripts and digital signage
   - Assist in leading, developing and growing the copy/content team
   - Disciplinary focus on developing compelling creative within
   interactive communications ranging from websites to online media
   - Assist in communicating and presenting copy to internal teams and

*Experience Guidelines:*

   - Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, English or Communications
   - Three to five years of copywriting experience in a creative
   environment (advertising or marketing)
   - Portfolio/writing samples

*Job Title:*

Art Director

*Job Summary:*

As an Art Director you are responsible for the development, design and
execution of creative concepts for leading-edge brand/advertising and
digital experiences. You may also have the opportunity to play a Creative
Lead role on a smaller track of work, managing a small team of designers
and collaborating with developers, IAs, copywriters and content strategists
as a part of the creative process.

*Primary Responsibilities:*

   - Apply style/brand guides if necessary in the execution of existing
   - Ensure quality and preparation of deliverable for handoff to
   interactive developers, printers, client, etc.
   - Solid understanding of above the line but fluent in digital - through
   the line, strong conceptual, brand/advertising and digital experience
   - Create layouts applying design principles such as color, typography,
   photographic selection, organizing elements and usability
   - Provide rationale for design choices; assure design meets business
   objectives as stated in creative brief
   - Define outlines and storyboards for Flash (or equivalent software)
   animations (identifying the range of assets to be used, the story to be
   told, etc)
   - Develop creative ideas based on criteria in creative brief and/or
   direction from senior leadership, collaborating with team members and
   - Direct 1-2 designers to help develop sketches/storyboards to present
   to senior team; assist in rationale and strategy for ideas in final deck
   - Develop style of the presentation for existing concepts/directions;
   determine best format to execute upon ideas
   - Help define a brand’s visual language (color palette, logo, font, etc)
   across a range of media (may include print, online marketing, Web site,
   packaging, etc) with minimal oversight
   - Compare a brand’s visual language to other competitors; provide
   recommendations to the client/internal team
   - Collaborate with Project Manager and Project Director to assemble a
   quality team for small to medium projects
   - Lead and motivate the team to realize goals and deliver a successful
   project on time
   - Provide direction to Level 1 Art Directors and Designers

*Experience Guidelines:*

   - 5+ years of industry experience
   - Strong design portfolio with 4+ years education, industry related
   degree is a plus
   - Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful
   attention to detail is a must
   - A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of applicable
   programs -- Mac OS, Fireworks, Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.
   - A good working knowledge of online and offline production
   - Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative
   - Self motivated, organized and accountable
   - Well-developed communication skills including ability to present to
   other team members (clients a plus)
   - Understanding of Informational Architecture practices, motion design,
   and the strengths and limitations of Flash, Ajax, Flex, and other emerging
   - Some travel may be required
