Early response is really appreciated. *JOB Title:* *MS* *SQL DBA Consultant * *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration:6+ Months* *Job Description:* · Build s DB structure (e.g. *Design schemas. Build tables, FKs, PKs on local DBs created by system DBA*) that meets the business/application needs. · Provide PDW DB consultant service to data layer developers who are responsible for merging data from multiple sources into a data warehouse. · Design and implement physical warehouse, but cleans, standardizes, and scrubs data before loading. · Build queries, stored procedures, etc. that meet business/application needs. Ensure that the application is fully optimized for the database and vice versa. · Provide Application/Project security requirement to System DBA and maintain Application level database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges). · Application DB tuning and performance monitoring. · Establish Application/project backup and recovery policies and procedures, and work with system DBA to implement it.
