*Role : Windows Architect*

*Location: NYC, NY*

*Duration : 6 – 12 Months *



To take the Technical Lead with respect to all aspects of windows server
support including setting standards for implementation, installation,
operation, maintenance, decommissioning of hardware & software and support
of enterprise-wide server services. Experience in managing and
administering *VMware 5.5 and 6.0 and Citrix Xen App 4.5 and 5.5*.  Good to
have knowledge with exchange 2007/10/13.
Person has to work in conjunction with offshore team and provide hands and
feet support for fixing hardware issues at Data centers Assist to build
operating systems on new/existing server hardware, coordinate with vendor
for hardware replacement.
 Strategic position to manage the additional scope that we are adding into
our existing scope.Technology project management including hardware
refresh, technology transformation, value preposition by introducing
automation and best practices. Project management skills, knowledge on
project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio and PowerPoint.

Install and configure ESX or ESXi

Install and configure venter Server components

Configure and manage ESX/ESXi networking and storage using venter Server

Deploy, manage, and migrate virtual machines

Configure and Manager vmotion , HA , DRS , FT.

Manage user access to the VMware infrastructure

Use venter Server to monitor resource usage

Use venter Server to increase scalability

Use VMware venter Update Manager to apply ESX/ESXi patches

Use venter Server to manage higher availability and data protection

Configure / Troubleshoot virtual Networking

Configure / Troubleshoot Storage

Configure / Troubleshoot / Manage Virtual Machines

Configure / Troubleshoot Access Control

High Availability and Data Protection

Configuration Management

Managing Windows Operating Systems

Manage DNS / DHCP / TS / AD

Experience in Citrix XenApp

- Should be well versed in Exchange 2007/2010/2013 & Office 365

- Be the technology escalation point to resolve L3/L4 tickets

-  Manage OCS / Lync

- Work on L3/L4 Issues and problem Management.

- Good Experience on Windows server 2003 / 2008 administration

- L3/L4 administration experience on Active Directory, Design, deployment
experience on Active Directory, Exchange server 2010, Unified
communications, Lync 2010

- Expertise on Microsoft Cluster Server.

- Scripting – VBScript , PowerShell will be an advantage

- Installing new Domain controllers / DNS

- Manage DNS/ Adding new forward and reverse lookup zone

- Transferring DNS zones

- Backup and restore AD

- Set/Modify replications - Verify/ configure/troubleshoot AD replication

- Manage certificates

- Modifying the Schema and its attributes

- Migration Exposure to Windows 2003/2008 to 2012

Nice to Have Skills

Working on the Monitoring tools like Solarwinds / SCOM / SCCM will be an
added advantage

Communication: Excellent communication both verbal and

Graduate in Computers or Equivalent

Certifications: MCTS ; MCITP, VCP

Good to have: CCA
