Hello
I have no problem to write a shell script that will clean my log
directory. All I want to know is why rollover-count="60" do not make the
job and if there is something in Resin to do this.
Thanks.

I forgot to say that I use Resin 4.0.13 on Linux Debian.
Thanks for any info.

Hello
I have my resin log being changed every night with <log-handler>
parameters :
<log-handler name="" level="info"
path="/home/webapps.tmp/realty/logs/jvm.log"
timestamp="[%y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S.%s] {%{thread}} "
rollover-size="1mb"
rollover-period="1D"
rollover-count="60"/>
I thought that rollover-count="60" would make resin delete oldest
file if there are more than 60. But I have 225 files in my log
directory. The docs says : "maximum number of rollover files before
the oldest ones get overwritten". I don't undestrand why it talks
about "overwriting".
What is the best way to clean old resin log files ?
Thanks a lot.
