The Oracle Applications EBS Administrator is responsible for installing and administering the client's Enterprise applications such as EBS R12 which includes Oracle applications Financials, Projects, Self-service web applications, HCM etc. The administration will consist of maintaining application security, printers, profile options, concurrent manager processes and related configurations with the client's Enterprise Application Oracle applications. The administrator will provide technical support and guidance for post release, production systems, maintain and update functionality for enterprise applications support. The administrator will develop, implement and maintain monitoring processes and procedures for end-user usage of system, perform daily administrative tasks and provide assistance with patch management for multiple environments. The administrator will be primary individual responsible to create and maintain application system documentation for all environments. The administrator will function as both production and development support of implementation projects. The administrator will need to interface and work together with all levels of management, implementation project teams and other members of the client's Enterprise Application team. The administrator will work with the teams to establish strategies and priorities for the overall enterprise by analyzing and understanding the current and future application needs in order to formulate and recommend technology plans to keep pace with the business demands. Role Seeking an application DBA who has experience in installing R12 on Linux and VMware. The client is building a brand new R12 Instance (they are currently on 11i). This person will be responsible for administering, patching, and maintaining the environment. Will be responsible for "keeping the lights on" Identify new patches Talk with Business users Will be responsible for all fresh installs & data migration R12 Instance Production support (this is a 100 gig database, supporting 70 users - small!)
