Client: AT&T Location: Middletown, NJ Duration: 2 years Position: Testing Engineer( candidates with telecommunication experience ATT/Verizon/Sprint etc.) Rate: 45/hr Corp to Corp Project Name: IP/MPLS Network Certification Testing Project Description: Testing and certification of vendor hardware & software (e.g. Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems) on IPv4 and IPv6 network project(s) in support of AT&T IP/MPLS services. Creation of scripting and other test automation for self and other test engineers in the group. Job Description: Will be responsible for testing and certification of vendor hardware & software (e.g. Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems) on network projects, in support of AT&T IP/MPLS services, as well as creation of scripting and other test automation for self and other test engineers in the group. Looking for a energetic, motivated candidate with an aptitude for this type of work, as well as a good deal of creativity. Some background or experience in the area of IP/MPLS networking, ideally in the areas of MPLS VPN (e.g. RFC2547) and IPv6 services is needed. With regard to scripting/automation, the candidate should also have advanced level of experience in at least two of the following areas -- Perl, Expect, XML, shell scripting, TCL TK and/or SLAX. Knowledge of service provider uses/applications of MPLS VPN, MPLS LDP, BGPv4, OSPF, and IP&VPN Multicast protocols desired. Knowledge of traffic/routing emulators such as IXIA and Spirent/Adtech router tester is also desired. Vendor certification such as JNCIE or CCIE on service provider routing protocols is an added attraction.
