6 months contract to hire Omaha, NE Rate: 55/hr on C2C Below is the job description, but the main things the client is looking for is - 1. Extensive experience managing Oracle EBS Suite applications 2. Strong PL/SQL Skills 3. This is NOT a DBA position, but an Applications Administrator position. We are seeking a strong Oracle System Administrator for the Oracle Business Suite of applications in a Linux environment. You will provide installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, and support of all EBS application environments. Proactively monitor and ensure the high availability and disaster recovery of all EBS application environments. Develop, manage, confirm and test all backup and recovery practices. Continually tune he applications for performance and support the Oracle development teams. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience required: -Must have demonstrated professional experience managing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environment in a multi-node and multi-tier environment. -Systems administration skills (installation, configuring, upgrading, patching, backup, recovery, cloning, monitoring, tuning, refreshing, debugging, and supporting). -Strong PL/SQL skills -must have experience in a Linux environment -Innovative Outlook/Vision -Communication, -Leadership/Accountability -Customer Service -Teamwork Have the ability to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment and deliver assigned projects within the established time, scope and budget parameters. Must be self-motivated and have great attention to details.
