systems into a common network for enhanced deterrence, protection and
response by combining the most sophisticated hardware and software
technology available into cost effective solutions.**
We are currently seeking a network architect/admin contract consultant to
make significant contributions to their security software initiatives. In
this crucial role, you will be responsible for architecting, administrating
and documenting network solutions.
*Competencies include:*
· Expertise in architecting infrastructure
solutions
· Expertise in network, storage, systems,
security and integration
· Experienced in network design tools
· Experience with Multicast, Video and MPLS
networks
· Knowledgeable in designing networks
scalable to 10+ gigs
· Excellent communication and writing skills
· Experience with WAN handling high speed
streaming video data transfer
· Hands-on network engineering background
Building and configuring Cisco switches (6500, 3800, IE 3000, etc.)
from scratch
Deploying, troubleshooting and maintaining WAN circuits (ATM,
T1/T3, Frame Relay, etc.)
