LENGTH: ONE YEAR PLUS EXTENTIONS Senior Tester/Quality Assurance Engineer Location: St. Louis, MO Duration: 1year+ Rate: DOE
Job Duties & Responsibilities *Primary* Develop and execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance test scripts. Document and analyze test results, produce status reports, and assist with the defect management process. Identify potential testing or work product improvements. Accurately estimate testing efforts for project planning and tracking. Assist with technical artifacts including the Requirements Traceability Matrix, Use Cases, User Interface Specifications and migration plans. Secondary Learn and apply project high-level and detailed business requirements. Participate in test strategy and planning discussions. Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used. Communicate effectively with clients and all levels of management, peers and organizations. Assist with team training needs. Maintain all project documentation in accordance with department procedures. Establish priorities for tasks. Participate in Lessons Learned or Project Review sessions. Maintain understanding of current and new technologies. Provide and deliver presentations to clients and bank management, as required. Create and maintain change tickets. Performs a variety of other tasks while working under general supervision. After hours and weekend support as required to meet test schedules. Travel when required (5%). *Experience needed* · All Microsoft Office Tools are used on a daily basis. · Working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Planning/EssBase products, · Smartview reporting tools, and testing tools including HP Quick Test Pro (QTP), LoadRunner, etc. · Working knowledge of the IBM tools Rational Team Concert (RTC), Test Manager, etc. · Familiarity with LDAP, SiteMinder, Oracle, SQL, DB2, Connect Direct, Remedy, etc. · A financial background in accounting or forecasting would also be a great asset for this individual.
