Role : RPG Developer Location: Cincinnati, OH Duration: 6 months **Need DOB on submittal** Job Description: Must have excellent communication skills for dealing with the business side. The Sr. RPG Programmer will be working with billing, FSA, and Flex spending accounts to handle data feeds to clients and providers. Requirements: · RPG III/IV/400/ILE/Free Form · Good understanding of CL · Understanding of SQL a plus · Basic troubleshooting · Familiarity with Change Management would be great (doesn’t have to be a specific CM tool). The Systems Developer is responsible for program design and analysis, coding, testing, and implantation for data feed projects. The Systems Developer works in a project team environment may be the only team member besides the Lead Systems Developer or the Manager. The Systems Developer will typically work on multiple concurrent projects. Clearly the emphasis for this position is on developing technical skills, knowing the stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle, as well as building and demonstrating improved problem solving and analysis talents. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Must be a self-starting, independent individual with good problem solving and communications skills. The successful candidate will possess an expert level of knowledge of the AS/400 application development tools (OS/400, RPG); Design, analysis, development and testing and implementation. COMMUNICATION WITH OTHERS: The Developer will be required to gather information from the System Solutions Manager, internal Client Account Managers, as well Server Administrator. Minimum 5 years RPGLE Programming Language Experience: CLP; SQL; Message handling; FTP; Data queues. Experience with MKS Implementer.
