*Information Risk Lead*

This position will be part of the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB)
Information Risk Management team, specifically supporting the Centralized
Transaction Operations organization within CCB. The goal of the risk team
is to consistently identify, assess, and manage technology risks across all
environments. Where controls are not adequate, this team escalates those
concerns and assists with driving improvements to the overall control
environment. To accomplish this goal, the team partners with Corporate
groups including the Global Privacy Office, Corporate IT Risk Management,
and Audit, as well as with various CCB Technology Application Development
and Infrastructure Technology teams.
As an Information Risk Lead for CCB IT Risk, you will be part of the Risk
& Controls Oversight function which is intended to review, measure, report,
and, escalate as appropriate technology risk and control related gaps
identified within the organization. You will be responsible for working
with the business, application development and technology areas to identify
and prioritize risk components. Additional responsibilities include
monitoring and acting as a liaison into
corporate-wide risk programs while providing support to key risk functional
areas including, but not limited to: data protection/privacy , PI/PCI
compliance, identity & access administration, vulnerability management ,
control assessments , SOX, and third party oversight.
The ideal candidate will possess:
· Thorough knowledge of the technology risk and control environment
and an understanding of industry IT Risk best practices.
· Capacity to consult with clients to interpret JPMC risk policies
and procedures to protect the Firm's information.
· Access administration best practices across Mainframe and
distributed platforms including entitlements and based access methodologies.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead in a
matrix organization and interact with senior management.
· Understanding of multiple technology platforms and methodologies
including mainframe, distributed, midrange, and windows environments.
· Partner with IT Audit colleagues to address risk issues within
· Ability to articulate the business value and impact of advanced
technical and non-technical information, and recommend automated and cost
effective solutions using that information.
· Excellent command of business knowledge and ability to solicit
input from internal and external sources.
· Ability to affect change within sphere of influence and leads
development of innovative improvements.
· Capacity to small-to medium-scale projects and delivers
presentations with minimal supervision.
· Dissects complex situations and refocuses on critical technology.
· To recommend technical solutions and best practices
· Time management skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to
changing priorities and to manage multiple assignments with
Knowledge of technology risk management and industry best practices
Experience in metrics-driven performance trending
Experience in communicating strategic roadmaps and vision to team and
Project management skills to establish and execute risk related projects
effectively and the ability to resolve conflicts
7+ years of technology experience primarily within risk management or
technology operations CRISC, CISSP or CISM/CISA certifications a plus
5 years managing small - medium sized projects
Degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
