Retrospect Express and Error 211

I'm getting an error 211, Media Locked when backing up from a G4/450 running 
Mac OS 9 to DVD-RAM.  The media isn't locked.  I haven't yet applied the 4.1E 
update for Mac OS 9, but then again, the notes don't say anything about this 
error.

Any ideas?
